Sprayed polyurethane

Closed-cell and open-cell spray foam insulations provide unmatched thermal resistance in less space than traditional insulations, while preventing air entry, moisture build-up and gas infiltration into the house. It allows substantial energy savings because it is a jointless sprayed polyurethane system that does not require fasteners. It thus maximizes the performance of the building envelope, makes air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems more efficient and thus reduces the cost of energy consumption.

Proudly Quebecer

Genyk is a Quebec company based in Shawinigan, working in the development, manufacturing and marketing of rigid and flexible sprayed foam systems. From the manufacture of specific products for its customers to the research and development of sprayed polyurethane systems aimed at meeting a very specific need, Genyk is present in all stages of this process.

Proudly Canadian

Elastochem is a proud Canadian family-owned manufacturer located in Brantford, Ontario, Canada. We have been manufacturing, distributing and selling quality products to our Canadian customer base and beyond since 1987. We are proud of our Canadian heritage and have built our business on a foundation of innovative products, technical expertise and above all, valued customer service first.
We evolved the sprayed polyurethane insulation industry by being the first in Canada to adopt Honeywell Solstice® liquid blowing agent to reduce global warming potential ( GWP) of 99.9%. GREENGUARD Gold certification ensures that our products meet some of the world’s toughest and most comprehensive standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which can be a major source of indoor air pollution.

We use Soprema Cellulose

Cellulose thermal and acoustic insulation

Efficient and respectful of the environment, SOPRA-CELLULOSE reduces energy consumption and improves indoor comfort in a variety of climates. By their shape and material, cellulosic fibers form an absorbent barrier that attenuates and prevents the propagation of sound. They are able to absorb high frequencies from 200 to 2,000 hertz in order to protect you from ambient noise as well as from outside. It acts as a shield that reduces the transmission of heat and sound.

SOPREMA is an international manufacturing company that specializes in the manufacture of waterproofing, insulation, greening and soundproofing products for the roofing, building envelope and civil engineering sectors. Founded in 1908 in Strasbourg, France, SOPREMA is now present in more than 90 countries.

In Canada, SOPREMA employs more than 900 employees in its 12 manufacturing plants, its 11 sales offices located in all provinces of Canada and its North American research and development center located in Drummondville.

Since its establishment in Canada in 1978, SOPREMA has manufactured and installed millions of square meters of its membranes. Every year, hundreds of construction professionals choose SOPREMA for the quality of its products and the human approach of its team.
